Apparantly, many of you are having problems to set up the plugin so that it uses dynamic gravatars (identicons, wavatars, …), so here is how you do that:

HOW TO USE DYNAMIC GRAVATARS (IDENTICONS, WAVATARS, …)
1. Open up get-recent-comments.php .
2. Search for $comment_gravatar_url .
3. Two lines below the line you’ve just found (most likely line 1334), change:

$gravatar_options

into:

$gravatar_options . “&default=wavatar”;

of:

$gravatar_options . “&default=identicon”;

or any other dynamic gravatar name.
